Sophia Rose Review
The race found 13thousand century treasure hidden under the dark waters of Egyptian Lake, the treasure hunt team has resumed operations and is in greater danger. The break of several years thought the previous trilogy was the end of the series. However, the author has chosen to pick up the exciting remnants of the plot and start a new arc in the series, which, for example, makes me captivated to death.
Treasured Whispers is the fourth book in a series of treasure hunters and has links to the previous trilogy. However, if a person wanted to dive into this, at first it is enough for the reader to accelerate and be able to dive into this new treasure adventure.
Archer and Rosalina have had a baby and are both happy to be parents and start a family together. But Archer has unfinished business that won’t let him leave. He feels reluctant to find the rest of Kalima’s treasure, which was his father’s dream and became his own father after his death. Rosalina is ambiguous on this point and believes the treasure is cursed after all that has happened before.
And when they learn that a scientist who had to help them decipher old documents, betrayed them and began searching for treasure himself so that they would be forced to rush to the Abu Simbel Temple in Egypt and try to reclaim the lost place in search, she may be right. Because from the shadow of the enemy, the treasure hunter, sworn to Archer, wants to take the treasure and everything Archer values dearly, and takes on events that become appalling to Archer and his team.
I almost don’t breathe after finishing this book. This usually happens with many romantic tensions full of Kendall Talbot’s heartbreaking adventures. True, it took a while before I started my feet when I started because it took a long time to read the last book in the series. My memory was bad and I was glad to have been re-introduced to Archer, Rosalina, his partner Jimmy and the rest of their team, young Alessandro and the enigmatic Ginger. All of their previous treasure hunts were from Archer’s beloved yacht Evangeline, but they leave Evangeline to poke through the sand into Lake Nasser and Abu Simbel for an adventure in Egypt.
When everything was delivered, Treasured Whisper went to a race with a duel attack that left Archer and Jimmy imprisoned in an underwater cave, and Rosalina and the rest of the crew attacked the Abu Simbel Temple Light Show with one kidnapped, hopelessly wounded, and everything was a mess.
As in previous books, the villain gets narrative time along with others, so there are several approaches. Massimo was ruthless, but his mother was even more so and their relationship was quick as the photo hinted at incest. There is nothing on the page, not only their disturbing actions, but this family ugliness was just my “love to hate them” mill.
While Archer and Rosalina are a well-established couple, things aren’t going well as they disagree on the focus of his treasure hunt and the dangers he poses, but she insists on being together. He wants her to stay away and safe from the moment she carries her child, but the hellish man doesn’t realize she can’t do it when he’s in danger. Plus, they’re a little shocked by one of their trusted people who had a history with competing hunters.
It turns out that a new season of the series has begun and there will be more treasure hunting adventures. I love this series, which gets gloomy, bloody and hopeless, but somehow the crew led by Archer finds its way. I liked how the author takes the extra step of bringing Egypt back to life as much as its characters and their situation. Definitely recommend for those who like fast action romance in an exotic setting.
